The enclosed is an interview between Sherbourne Place Security and tenant Mr DAVID BAYLES in what constitutes construction of a fraudulent legal case before the Landlord and Tenant Board.

  • Were you the individual that had that confrontation with that gentleman, I believe, on Monday? Well, a confrontation.
     
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • Yeah.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • Yeah, exactly. So pretty much, we wanted to follow up with you only because I personally don't think it's right that he for what he did. And we did submit our report, but I just wanted to more so get a statement from you and see if, you know, if there's anything you want to add to our reports as well, Madeline is aware as well.
     
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • Absolutely.
    Okay, so it's not just that one incident.
    He refuses to wear a mask.
    Not just I neglected to, I forgot to.
    He outright is defiant to wearing a mask.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • Okay.
     
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • And anytime you see someone wearing a mask, you will basically openly mock them for wearing one.
    Basically, they're someone informed, you know, and he starts spouting pseudoscience about, you know, masks removing your immune system and all that kind of crap.
    So, you know, so basically every time he sees me, I'm hearing him basically openly mocking me for wearing a mask.
    So when I got on the elevator with him, he was just basically more of the same with him and is wife.
    And I just basically, I had a knock and I said, look, I'm immunocompromised. People like you are making my life that much more difficult in this pandemic.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • Right.
     
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • At which point, he starts screaming obscenities at me.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • Okay.
    Do you remember what he said to you when you guys got to the lobby?
     
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • How dare I say anything to him and his wife, you know, basically along those lines and just, you know, basically screaming obscenities and, you know, as far as he was concerned, you know, I openly attacked him.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • Right.
     
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • You know, even though I just basically said, look, you know, you guys are wearing masks, you know, that's not fair.
    And he basically just blew up at me over it.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • Okay. All right, because again, we just wanted to get more information for our reports so that way we can submit more to Medallion.
  • Our report was already written as well as video footage in terms of our response to everything that went on that day.
  • So we're just trying to get everything put together and then see if Medallion could, you know, escalate it to where it needs to be.
• Mr DAVID BAYLES:
  • All right.
     
• MEDALLION CORPORATION:
  • But definitely wanted to follow up with you and see if everything was okay with you.

  • ​​​​​​​My only concern is that a guy who is that temperamental could just as easily decide as soon as he sees me that he's just going to start up again.

  • ​​​​​​​So that's my concern is I haven't seen him yet so far since that incident.
    But if he sees me again, I'm concerned that he may just decide to, you know, start blowing up at me in a second time just because I'm there.

  • No, 100%.
